This discussion is about the Joseph S. Murphy Scholarship for Diversity in Labor which funds degrees in Labor Studies and Urban and Community Studies. The Scholarship will be the focus of an open house on January 16th at the CUNY School of Labor and Urban Studies. The participants in the podcast (whose names are listed below) also discussed the role of labor and labor unions in our world today. This particular scholarship is created for women and students of color to help them realize their educational and career goals.
