Bio
Mr. Bishop has developed and produced new plays and musicals by many of America’s leading playwrights, composers, and lyricists. Before arriving at Lincoln Center, Mr. Bishop served as Playwrights Horizons’ Artistic Director for 10 years and as its Literary Manager for six. His many successful productions at that theater included three Pulitzer Prize winners: The Heidi Chronicles, Driving Miss Daisy, and Sunday in the Park with George. Prior to his tenure at Playwrights Horizons, Mr. Bishop worked for the New York Shakespeare Festival and the American Place Theatre.
