Mr. Cunningham has been a senior staff member for Governors Carey and Cuomo, a Deputy Commissioner of Transportation and an Assistant Commissioner of Commerce in the New York State government, as well as the chief of Staff for Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan. He resigned from Fleet Bank where he was the senior vice president for Public Policy to guide Mike Bloomberg to City Hall.
