Clara Hemphill is director of Insideschools.org at Advocates for Children of New York and author of New York City's Best Public Elementary Schools, New York City's Best Public Middle Schools and New York City's Best Public High Schools. For nearly a decade, parents have looked to Hemphill to help them find a great public school for their child. Her two children attend public school in Manhattan.
Former foreign correspondent, A.P., Clara Hemphill has also been a producer for CBS News and a reporter and editorial writer at NY Newsday.
Author, "Public Middle Schools: New York City’s Best Public Elementary Schools,” and "The Parent’s Guide to New York City’s Best Public High Schools.”
