Elizabeth Warren was elected to the U.S. Senate from Massachusetts in 2012; a former professor at Harvard Law School, she served as chair of the Congressional Oversight Panel for the Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP), and later established the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau under President Barack Obama, before running for office. A Fighting Chance, Warren’s most recent book, was published in April 2014.
