Bio
Gisela Sanders-Alcántara is a Mexican-American filmmaker/TV producer & editor. She has won six NY Emmy Awards with CUNY TV´s magazine show Nueva York. Her work has been shown in festivals and conferences around the world, as well as TV -- Canal 22, Canal Once (Mexico) and ILCE (all Latin America). She has been an Adjunct Professor at Lehman College and Artist in Residence with BRIC, teaching her skills to K-12 students in public schools. She had an early career as a dancer in Mexico.
