Jimmy Breslin began his newspaper career at The Flash, a neighborhood newspaper in Ozone Park, Queens, that he wrote, edited and printed.
He has worked at almost every major newspaper in New York City, including the Long Island Press, the New York Journal American, the New York Post, the New York Herald Tribune, the New York Daily News, New York Newsday, and now Newsday.
He is the author of thirteen books, including “Can’t Anyone Here Play this Game?”, a book about the first season of the New York Mets, and his most recent, “I Want to Thank My Brain for Remembering Me: A Memoir” and “I Don’t Want to Go to Jail: A Good Story”.
