Hon. Mario Cuomo


The longest-serving Democratic governor New York's history, Mario Cuomo served three consecutive terms from 1983 to 1995. In his distinguished career, Mr. Cuomo has also served as New York's Secretary of State and lieutenant governor. As governor, he was outspoken and unwavering in his views on controversial topics such as abortion and the death penalty. Since the conclusion of his time in office, Mr. Cuomo has published several books, including “Why Lincoln Matters, Today More than Ever” and “Reason to Believe.”
