New York State Budget Crisis Task Force Co-Chair Richard Ravitch is a lawyer, businessman, and public official who has been engaged in private and public business for more than 40 years. He recently completed his term as Lieutenant Governor of the State of New York. Prior to his appointment as Lieutenant Governor, he served as chairman of the New York State Urban Development Corporation, the Metropolitan Transportation Authority of New York, the Bowery Savings Bank, and HRH Construction Corporation. Formerly with AFL-CIO Housing Investment Trust.
