Since 1985, CUNY TV has been the public educational station for The City University of New York and our programs have received 44 New York Emmy® Awards, and other prestigious industry honors. We are proud to be the most diverse TV station in New York City, both in front and behind the cameras.

Our programs like Theater: All the Moving Parts with Patrick Pacheco, Arts in the City with Carol Anne Riddell, City Cinematheque with Jerry Carlson, and CUNY TV Presents: NYC Film Festivals, bring you the best in New York entertainment and culture.

When it comes to New York City’s diversity, we’ve got it all from Asian American Life, Black America, Nueva York, and LATiNAS.

And who better to talk politics than our program Let it Rip with new host Kiiru Gichuru, or discuss the issues of the day with Sam Roberts of the New York Times Close Up, or Laura Flanders, host of City Works. And if smart conversation is what you want, don’t miss One to One with Sheryl McCarthy, Bob Herbert’s Op-Ed TV or Conversations with Jim Zirin on weekday evenings.
