Speaker Johnson reviewed ABNY's history and Lew Rudin's leadership during New York's fiscal crisis, listing issues facing New Yorkers, today: an aged and aging subway system; income inequality; congestion pricing; skyrocketing cost of housing; homelessness-20,000 children living in shelters; red tape stymying Affordable Housing development and more. Speaker Johnson asked ABNY audience for support fighting for basic fairness.
