On this episode of “Art or Something Like It!,” Rich Casella, Lyn-don McCray, St. Reverend Jen, and Doug Z discuss their art and inspirations.
Doug Z is a spray paint artist from the suburbs of New Jersey who moved to New York City in order to create art. His spray art focuses on drips and multiple layers of paint in order to convey an intended message. His inspirations come from around him, such as the government’s inner workings, and how people interact with each other.
St. Reverend Jen is a writer who usually performs what she writes. Her main goal within her work is to not have analysis with it in order to create truthful writings and ideas.
Lyn-don McCray is a producer in the Bronx. His most famous film was “Get Home Safe” in which the story revolves around young Brooklyn-ites trying to get home and the conflicts that arise. He aspires to be successful within the film industry and create more flms.
Rich Casella is a musician that enjoys writing music and playing many different instruments in order to play that music. His challenge is to reach fans through his satirical music and also his truthful music.
