On this month’s Arts in the City: Carol Anne Riddell comes to you from the Brooklyn Museum, where an exhibit on iconic musician David Bowie is currently running. Ernabel DeMillo visits the Art of March exhibit at the Society of Illustrators, which tells the story of John Lewis’ journey through the civil rights movement. Neil Rosen previews the film Disobedience, interviewing the stars of the film - Rachel Weisz, Rachel McAdams, and Alessandro Nivola. Barry Mitchell brings the story of a mental health filmmakers competition, and Carol Anne Riddell interviews historical mystery author Mariah Fredericks about her book, “A Death of No Importance.” Finally, Donna Hanover pulls the strings - literally - at the Swedish Cottage Marionette Theatre in Central Park.
