For the past 40 years, Tony Award winning singer Melba Moore has captivated audiences around the world with her powerhouse vocals. As a result, she’s remained one of the most lasting artists of the 21st century. Her accolades are proof of her prowess, with 11 top 10 hits in the United States on the Billboard charts and 4 Grammy nominations. Most recently the Library of Congress elected to preserve Moore’s rendition of “Lift Every Voice and Sing.” Moore stopped by to sing that beloved tune. She also sat down with Carol Jenkins to discuss her illustrious career and how her work continues to this day.
