Segment 2 – The War on Federal Whistleblowers
Would it be legal if the CIA used a drone to kill an American on U.S. soil? Who’d sound the alarm if that hypothetical scenario happened? -- “Silenced,” a forthcoming documentary film profiles some of the federal whistleblowers, including guest Jesselyn Radack, who publicly questioned U.S. national security policy after 9/11. Producer and director James Spione joins Radack in discussing the risks of truth telling for federal employees in what some call, an age of unending war. Radack, former ethics attorney in the Department of Justice, is now the national security and human rights director at the Government Accountability Project (GAP) in Washington, DC.
