A Very Old Man With Enormous Wings (Un señor muy viejo con unas alas enormes)(1988/Cuba; 90 min. color, sound); Dir. Fernando Birri. Cast: Daisy Granados, Asdrúbal Meléndez. Based on a story of the same name by Gabriel García Márquez, this film follows an angel who falls to Earth and lands in a rural community, which begins to exploit the situation for its own benefit.
