She describes the “housing crisis” and the difficulty in finding affordable housing, which she defines as spending 30% of your income on housing (in NYC, this percentage is at an average of over 50%), and explains what the HDC is doing to combat this trend. Ms. Youssouf talks about the different programs the HDC has in place, including the new Co-op Program, that help builders offer affordable housing.
