He talks about the difficulty in running in a primary against an incumbent mayor and why he feels it is important to have a “real” Republican presence in New York City. He accuses Mayor Bloomberg of “cooking books” in order to make it appear as though crime has been reduced. Mr. Ognibene also attacks the mayor on issues such as the Jets Stadium, the Olympics, and the favoritism shown by Deputy Mayor Daniel Doctoroff.
