Joining Doug and Deputy Mayor Gibbs are two members of the New York City Commission for Economic Opportunity, Lilliam Barrios-Paoli of Safe Space NYC, and Lawrence Aber of NYU's Steinhardt School of Education. Topics of discussion include: determining factors of poverty, what these statistics overlook, and what programs and issues can be brought to light to shrink the number of impoverished families in New York City.
