To talk about Latino voting and politics in the 2008 election and prospects for the future is Rodolfo de la Garza, Eaton Professor of Administrative Law and Municipal Science Department of Political Science, Columbia University & Vice President, Tomás Rivera Policy Institute. Professor de la Garza has written extensively on Latino elections and politics including co-editing collections on the 1992, 1996, 2000 and 2004 presidential elections. His latest titled: “Beyond the Barrio: Latinos and the 2004 Elections” will be published by Notre Dame University Press in 2009.
