Errol Louis born in Harlem and lives in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. His father was an NYPD inspector. Louis has taught college, graduated from Law School and ran for a City Council seat. Prior to joining the Daily News, he served as associated editor of the New York Sun newspaper.
