The panel examines New York’s Gubernatorial contest, as well as a bitter battle for control of the New York State Senate in Albany. The panel also explores hot contests in the US House of Representatives and Senate in Washington, where insurgent Tea Party members have taken Democrats and moderate Republican to task for the Obama healthcare reform package and other policies. The panel explores the impact of new media on the 2010 elections, along with the growing divisions among the political electorate in New York and throughout the country.
