Do deregulation and density answer the question of how to best provide affordable housing for mixed-income New Yorkers? What happens when affordable housing policies open loopholes? What happens when those loopholes lead to economic segregation in City housing? Are "poor doors" inevitable in New York City? Is there room for community participation in solving today's crisis of affordability?
