Sun Yat-Sen, the first President of the Republic of China, and was the a mentor to Mao Tse Tung.
2.) 1921 - Anna May Wong, First Chinese American Female Hollywood Star
Anna May Wong was a Chinese American actor who paved the way for other Chinese American actors such as Lucy Liu, Meg Tilly, Rosalind Chao, and The Flower Drum Song's star Nancy Kwan.
3.) 1926 - You Chung Hong Leads the Fight for Chinese American Civil Rights
You Chung Hong, was a Chinese American lawyer who fought for civil rights, such as in Yick Wo. V. Hopkins, and to end the Chinese Exclusion Act of 1882.
4.) 1935 - Eddy See Initiates Chinese American Artistic Movement
Eddy See started the Chinese American Artistic Movement at his Dragon's Den restaurant, by showcasing artists like Gilbert Leong and Tyrus Wong, who created the Draon mural.
