Miriam Lee, was a a Chinese American pioneer in Chinese Medicine and acupuncture, which helps balance the body's chi.
2.) 1975 -Kingston, Hwang, and Chang the New Wave of Chinese American Writers
Chinese American authors Maxine Hong Kingston, who wrote The Woman Warrior, and and Iris Chang who wrote The Rape of Nanking, and playwright David Hwang, who wrote M. Butterfly, write the Chinese American story and opened the door for other Chinese American authors such as Amy Tan.
3.) 1982 - Maya Ying Lin Designs the Vietnam War Memorial

4.) 1983 - Andrew and Peggy Cherng Found Panda Express
Andrew Cherng and Peggy Cherng own Panda Express, which has turned traditional Chinese food into great tasting Chinese fast food, and they run the company on the same basic principles of cooperation and helping others as seen in the Chinese Six Companies
