In an allegory about the options facing Poland, a man, Witek, runs for a train and we then see three variations on his life based on whether he catches the train, misses the train completely, or bumps into a guard and gets arrested before he can make the train. Each variation has different consequences. Produced in 1981, but banned by the Polish authorities until 1987.
