First aired: September 9, 2013.The Peter Jennings Scholarship Program provides scholarships to adults who have achieved their GED diplomas through the CUNY Adult Literacy/GED Program, to continue their education at a CUNY College. Eleven men and women were scholarship recipients. Kayce Freed Jennings, president of the Peter Jennings Foundation spoke of the determination and perseverance of each of the scholarship winners.
