Ozzie Nelson wrote, produced and directed a popular radio and television series, The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet for 22 years. Starring his wife and two children, the show became a model for American family life. He discusses the blurred line between his family’s personal life and their public persona. He talks about his own role models in childhood, and how he got into the entertainment business through playing music. Taped at KCET in Los Angeles.
