Ms. Eldridge who has an expressed interest in television reporting gets Ms. Sherr to discuss how her news investigations evolve from hunches and editorial assignments into completed reports, imagining a day in the life of a news story. Ms. Sherr gives incite into her early career as a female news reporter at A.P., as well as her switch to CBS where she decided television reporting would be her career, despite the lack of women in the field at that time.
