Original tape date: February 20, 2007.Ronnie sits down with Majora Carter, Founder and Executive Director of the urban revitalization organization Sustainable South Bronx. As a child living in the Hunts Point section of the Bronx, Ms. Carter dreamed of her surroundings becoming greener and more habitable. Today she works with the local government and businesses to create new parks, fitness and recreation areas, as well as economic developments that are earth friendly.
