Starting as a teacher in a suburban area, Ms. Karpiniski has devoted herself to the military and has become the first female general in the U.S. Army to command troops in a combat zone. Additionally, she speaks about her time supervising prison facilities in Iraq as well as her book, “One Woman’s Army.”
