We focus on “BombaYo” a Bronx-based organization that’s teaching a folkloric form of Puerto Rican dance and music to both young and old. Abi Ishola speaks to Karen Bassuk and Marjorie Sautner of the Visiting Nurse Service of New York about their Rockaway Wellness Partnership program.Then we highlight the city’s Senior Splash program geared towards getting seniors to socialize and remain physically active.
