We head to the Bedford-Union Armory, the latest battleground in the fight for affordable housing in Crown Heights. We meet author Kay Hymowitz whose new book, “The New Brooklyn," examines how the borough has gone from crumbling and crime ridden to cool and costly. Then, we take a walk through some unfamiliar parts of the borough with another author, Professor William Helmreich, who has written a book called “The Brooklyn Nobody Knows: An Urban Walking Guide."
