ITALICS, Italian American Television, celebrates its seventh season of four one-hour Special Episodes dedicated to Italian Heritage and Culture Month.

On this special edition of ITALICS, the fourth – and final – of the 2013 series, host Dr. Anthony Julian Tamburri talks with Frank G. Fusaro, President, and Louis Tallarini, Chairman, of the Columbus Citizens Foundation, organizers of the annual Columbus Day Parade. Correspondent Lucia Grillo will report from the Red Carpet of the 69th Annual Columbus Day Parade.

We’ll also talk with Vincenzo Marra, the President and founder of ILICA, the Italian Language Intercultural Alliance, and his daughter, Ilaria Marra Rosiglioni, ILICA’s special events coordinator. Founded by a small group of Italian business people who believe that the Italian language, along with literature and art, are fundamental factors in the creation of productive citizens of tomorrow, ILICA promotes events in the fields of art, medicine, science, and tourism; as well as other types of initiatives that unite Italian culture with those who share an interest in learning the Italian language as a key to understanding Italian culture within the context of the 21st century.

Lucia Grillo speaks with New York State Comptroller Thomas P. DiNapoli at his annual 'Salute to Italian Heritage and Culture Month' event.
