Anthony Tamburri talks with Dr. Natalia Indrimi, Executive Director, and Alessandro Cassin, Director of Publications.
Having begun his tenure at New York University teaching Literature and Cinema in the Department of Italian Studies at New York University in 1994, Stefano Albertini subsequently served as Associate Director of the Casa Italiana Zerilli-Marimò for several years, and is now Director of the prestigious institution, which mourns the recent loss of its benefactor, Baronessa Mariuccia Zerilli-Marimò.
Past president of the Italy-America Chamber of Commerce, and current president of IACE, the Italian American Committee on Education, Berardo Paradiso has helped grow enrollments in Italian courses – from K-8 to the reinstatement of the Advanced Placement Exam in Italian that the College Board had suspended in 2010.
ITALICS also pays tribute to All-Star and World Series winner, and American League MVP Yogi Berra, a Yankee till the end of his 19-year career, elected into the Baseball Hall of Fame who founded the Yoga Berra Museum and Learning Center at Montclair State University and was known for his humorous paradoxical quotes.
