Founded in 1990 by Fred Gardaphé, Paolo Giordano, and Anthony Julian Tamburri, Bordighera Press is a nonprofit publishing company specializing in the latest research and critical works; debuting new voices in poetry and prose; and reprinting significant contributions in the fields of migration, Italian diasporas, and Italian Americana. This year the press was incorporated into the The John D. Calandra Institute of Queens College-CUNY. In this conversation, the three co-founders, along with Bordighera editor Nicholas Grosso, discuss the history of the press.
