Our guest in this episode of Italics is Fred Gardaphé, Distinguished Professor of Italian American Studies at Queens College/CUNY and the John D. Calandra Italian American Institute. He directs the Italian/American Studies Program at Queens and formerly directed the programs in Italian American and American studies at the State University of New York at Stony Brook.
Then, we attend the National Organization of Italian American Women’s Annual Gala Luncheon, where two distinguished women were honored: Phyllis R. Perillo, founder and CEO of W!SE and Carolyn Rossi Copeland, theater producer and founder of the Lambs Theatre.
