Other stories in the episode include innovations in neurosurgical technologies, such as augmented reality, simulation, and 3D printing; research showing how components of the marijuana plant have the potential to treat drug abuse and opioid addiction; clinical trials involving the use of vaccines to target cancer cells; and an emotional interview between a patient and physician about their shared journey with Hepatitis C.
