En este episodio empezamos en el Alto Manhattan, en el City College of New York, donde el afamado diseñador de modas Oscar de la Renta es el invitado de honor en la celebración del 15o. aniversario del Instituto de Estudios Dominicanos. Después, nos vamos a Brooklyn, a la casa de Carmen Boullosa donde nos presentará a la escritora y artista Diamela Eltit, chilena que se encuentra en esta ciudad como profesora visitante. De Brooklyn, nos vamos al East Village, al Anthology Film Archives, donde Patricio Lerzundi entrevista a Carlos Gutiérrez, promotor del cine latinoamericano. Y finalmente nos vamos a Queens, al parque Flushing Meadows Corona, a presenciar a la legendaria folklorista colombiana Petrona Martínez, quien deleitó al público latino con su música.

This episode begins in Upper Manhattan in City College of New York,
where the famous designer Oscar de la Renta is the guest of honor at the 15th Anniversary of the Dominican Studies Institute. Then, we go to Brooklyn, to Carmen Boullosa's, who will chat with author and performing artist, Diamela Eltit, a Chilean who is in the city as a visiting professor. From Brooklyn, we go to the East Village, to the Anthology Film Archives, where Patricio Lerzundi interviews Carlos Gutiérrez, a promoter of Latin American film. And, finally, we go to Queens, to Flushing Meadows Park, to enjoy Colombian folklore with the legendary Petrona Martínez, who wowed the Latino audience with her music.
