En este episodio iniciamos cerca de Times Square, donde hablamos con Dan Zanes sobre "Nueva York", su último disco de música para niños, realizado en colaboración con músicos de muchos lugares de Latinoamérica. Dan, ganador del premio Grammy en el 2007, narra las experiencias que lo llevaron a producir un disco enteramente en español.
Despues Patricio Lerzundi nos lleva al Upper East Side a visitar al pintor colombiano Omar Rayo. Creador de un estilo sin paralelo, con sus pinturas, dibujos y esculturas, el Maestro Rayo ha logrado laberintos geometricos que son reconocidos a nivel mundial; sus obras hacen parte de la coleccion permanente de alrededor 200 museos y coleccionistas privados
Y finallmente acudimos a las calles del South Bronx, cuna del hip hop, a explorar este movimiento urbano de la mano de la poeta y rapera "La Bruja del Bronx", la grafitera Toofly y la bailarina Rokafella. Ellas nos dibujan en el mapa el nuevo papel de la mujer dentro de la cultura y el arte hip hoperos.

In this episode, we begin near Times Square, where we chat with Dan Zanes about "Nueva York," his latest album of music for kids, recorded with musicians from different parts of Latin America. Dan, who won a Grammy in 2007, tells us what moved him to record an album entirely in Spanish.

Then Patricio Lerzundi takes us to the Upper East Side to visit Colombian painter Omar Rayo, who created a unique style, with his paintings, drawings and sculptures. Master Rayo's geometric labyrinths are recognized all over the world.

And, finally, we go to the streets of the South Bronx, the birthplace of hip hop, to explore this urban movement with poet and rapper "La Bruja del Bronx", graffiti artist "Toofly" and dancer “Rockafella.” They give us a picture of the new role of women in hip hop culture and art.
