Para conocer sobre los orígenes de este proyecto, Patricio Lerzundi visita en el Upper West Side a la académica Louise Mirrer, presidenta de la Sociedad Histórica de Nueva York.
A continuación, llegamos al Spanish Harlem, a las instalaciones de El Museo del Barrio, para recorrer esta exposición que abarca tres siglos de historia y que también nos descubre trabajos contemporáneos como el de Antonio Martorell.
Y sin salir de El Museo, conoceremos más a fondo la figura del beisbolista cubano Esteban Bellán, primer latino americano en ingresar en las grandes ligas de béisbol hace 140 años.

This episode is dedicated to the exhibition of the historic influence of Hispanics in the Big Apple hosted by the Museo Del Barrio under the name “Nueva York”.
In order to find out about the origins of this project, Patricio Lerzundi goes to the Upper West Side to meet scholar Louise Mirrer, President of the New York Historical Society.
Then, we move on to Spanish Harlem, to the facilities of the Museo del Barrio to visit this exhibition that spans through three centuries of history and also displays contemporary works like that of Antonio Martorell.
Without leaving the museum, we'll learn more about Cuban baseball player Esteban Bellán, the first Latin American to play in Major League Baseball 140 years ago.
