Empezamos este episodio en el Upper West Side donde Patricio Lerzundi visita a Louise Mirrer, presidenta de la Sociedad Histórica de Nueva York. Esta prestigiosa académica nos habla del empeño de esta organización por recuperar la influencia histórica de la población hispano-hablante de la ciudad.
A continuación, nos dirigimos a la Sociedad de las Américas, en el este de Manhattan, donde Carmen Boullosa charla con Natalia Toledo, poeta mejicana con obra bilingüe en español y zapoteco.
Y finalmente, cruzamos el East River hasta el Bronx con el Colectivo de Arte Rebel Diaz donde conoceremos a la cantante francesa, de origen chileno, Anita Tijoux y su más reciente disco, “1977”.

In this episode, Patricio Lerzundi goes to the Upper West Side to meet scholar Louise Mirrer President of the New York Historical Society who will tell us about this organization's specific work dedicated to the city's Spanish-speaking population.
Next we visit the Americas Society on the Upper East Side where Carmen Boullosa will talk with Natalia Toledo, a Mexican poet who has published bilingual books in Spanish and Zapotec.
Finally, we'll cross the East River and visit the artist collective Rebel Diaz in the Bronx. We will learn about Chilean rapper Anita Tijoux and her latest album, 1977.
