We begin this episode in Spanish Harlem, with Aurora-Anaya Cerda, who describes for us the challenges she faced while opening the Casa Azul Bookstore, a community bookstore focused on Latin culture.
Then, we visit the McNally and Jackson Bookstore in Soho. There, Carmen Boullosa interviews the Mexican writer Álvaro Enrigue who talks about the themes that inspire him in New York.
To finish up, we go to the Museum of Modern Art, MoMA, where Jodi Roberts, Curatorial Assistant for the exhibition about Mexican muralist Diego Rivera, tells us the history and meaning of the exhibited works.
