Dedicamos este episodio a la Conferencia de Música Alternativa Latina, LAMC, que se lleva a cabo cada verano en diferentes escenarios de la ciudad.

Iniciamos con la solista Eleanor Dubinsky quien presenta "Touch the Sky" and "Listen to the music", grabaciones con fusión de jazz y folk, interpretadas en inglés, francés y español.

A continuación, entrevistamos a la cantautora chilena Javiera Mena, vinculada al movimiento electropop, quien nos habla de sus influencias a la hora de componer.

Luego, la cantante, actriz y compositora mexicana Ximena Sariñana nos habla de sus orígenes en la música alternativa y sobre el reto de producir su primer disco en inglés.

Más adelante, la cantante chilena Anita Tijoux nos habla de "La Bala", un disco donde regresa al hip hop. Este álbum toma una posición de apoyo al movimiento estudiantil chileno.

Para finalizar, hablamos con los integrantes de La Santa Cecilia, una banda de Los Angeles, California, cuya música híbrida y ecléctica integra canciones originales y covers re-elaborados.

We dedicate this episode to the Latin Alternative Music Conference, LAMC, which takes place every summer at different locations around the city.

We start with the soloist Eleanor Dubinsky, who tells us about Touch the Sky and Listen to the Music, albums that blend jazz and folk, and features songs in English, French and Spanish.

Later, we interview Chilean singer-songwriter Javiera Mena, active in the electro pop scene, who talks to us about the influences on her songwriting.

Then, Mexican singer, actress and songwriter Ximena Sariñana talks to us about her start in the alternative music scene, and the challenges of producing her first record in English.

Later on, Chilean singer Anita Tijoux talks to us about her album “La Bala” and her return to hip-hop. This album speaks out in support of the Chilean student movement.

Finally, we speak to the members of La Santa Cecilia, a band from Los Angeles, California, who bring their eclectic and hybrid style to both original and cover songs.
