Iniciamos en la sala de redacción, hablamos con editores y reporteros sobre su trabajo en el periódico, las nuevas formas de asumir la noticia y los reportajes que marcaron su vida profesional y personal.

Mas adelante, entrevistamos a Willie Colón, compositor, músico y activista social, quien nos habla de la influencia que tuvo El Diario en la afirmación de su identidad latina, de sus años en El Bronx y del futuro de la salsa.

Para finalizar, vamos con la entrevista de Carmen Boullosa a Rossana Rosado, directora de El Diario, quien nos habla de sus inicios en el periodismo y de como llego a tener el cargo más
importante de los medios latinos en la Gran Manzana.

To mark the centennial of the foundation of the newspaper El Diario La Prensa, Nueva York visits the headquarters of the city's most important Spanish newspaper, located in Brooklyn.

We begin in the newsroom where we speak with editors and reporters about their work in the paper, the new ways to take on the news, and the stories, which have had an impact on their professional and personal lives.

Later, we interview Willie Colon, composer, musician and social activist, who will talk about the influence the newspaper had in the affirmation of his Latin identity, about his years in the Bronx, and the future of salsa.

We will end with Carmen Boullosa's interview with Rossana Rosado, director of El Diario, who will talk about her beginnings in journalism and how she came to acquire the most important position in Latin media in the Big Apple.
