We begin this episode in Washington, celebrating the Women's March first anniversary, where we met participants stemming from different locations who share the same goal: To demand equality and justice for all.

Later, we head to Midtown Manhattan to talk with Rohit Arora and Laura Pierce from Biz2Credit, a company that provides credit to small businesses. They tell us about the behavior of Latino companies in the US based on their financial data.

Then, at the King Juan Carlos I Center at NYU, Carmen Boullosa interviews filmmaker Juan Carlos Rulfo, who premieres "100 Años con Rulfo" in Mexico Now festival, a series of documentaries created as a memorial of the 100th anniversary of his father's birth, the great writer Juan Rulfo.

We conclude in Upper Manhattan, with a visit to Amanda Morales, the first immigrant to seek sanctuary in New York City. She and her three US citizen children have taken asylum at the Holyrood Episcopal Church in Washington Heights. With the community and church's support, she hopes to stay in the United States and not have to return to Guatemala, where her life is in danger.

Y terminamos en el alto Manhattan, visitando a Amanda Morales, la primer inmigrante en buscar santuario en la Ciudad de Nueva York bajo la administración Trump. Ella y sus tres hijos ciudadanos han tomado asilo en la Iglesia Holyrood Episcopal en Washington Heights. Con el apoyo de la iglesia y la comunidad, ella espera seguir viviendo en los E.U.s y no tener que volver a Guatemala, donde su vida corre riesgo.
