TweetEpisode Details
Original tape date: February 3, 2011.Over the past several weeks, we’ve learned about Carlina White, the young woman who was kidnapped from Harlem Hospital when she was 19 days old. She was recently reunited with her parents after 21 years. The woman who allegedly took her from the hospital, Ann Pettway, reportedly was afraid she couldn’t have children of her own and posed as a nurse to abduct Carlina while she was hospitalized with an infection. But Miss Pettway had alternatives to kidnapping and here to discuss some of them is Grace Lo Grande, executive director of Little Flower Children and Family Services of New York. The organization has gone beyond serving the needs of our youngest residents and now helps the elders among us.
