New York is full of dichotomies. One of them is that we’re home to the richest and the poorest. Some of us don’t think twice about spending four figures for a dinner for two at a fine restaurant; others stretch their stipends so they’ll have enough to feed their families for the month. Karen Karp is not a grocer or restaurateur, or a farmer for that matter, but her work tries to ensure that more families have access to local and fresh produce. She’s the Founder and President of Karp Resources, and resourceful she is.
