Host Sheryl McCarthy welcomes Eileen Markey, a a longtime journalist and an assistant Professor of Journalism at Lehman College who just edited a book about Wayne Barrett's writings called “Without Compromise: The Brave Journalism that First Exposed Donald Trump, Rudy Giuliani and the American Epidemic of Corruption”. Ms. Markey spent the last three years sifting through Barrett’s work and has assembled a collection of articles that illustrate his craft and tell stories that are worth remembering. At a time when so many questions about our leaders beg for answers, his work reminds us how important investigative journalism is.
