Ari Berman, a political correspondent and investigative reporter for The Nation magazine, joins Bob to discuss his new book, “Give Us The Ballot: The Modern Struggle for Voting Rights in America.” The two cover the various stages of voting rights in America, from the signing of the Voting Rights Act in 1965, to the gutting of the Act by the Supreme Court in 2013, and how that ruling has transformed the country.
